Privacy policy
Effective October 7, 2026. This policy describes what this website collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only. The privacy practices of the medical practice itself, including how your health information is protected, are described in the Notice of Privacy Practices you receive at the office.
Who we are
This website is operated by Total Podiatry, PLLC, a podiatry practice with offices in San Antonio and Uvalde, Texas. Contact details are on the contact page.
What this website collects
The appointment request form asks for your name, phone number, email address, which office you prefer, and the best time to call you. There is no free-text field, and we ask you not to include health details. We talk about your visit when we call you back.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and pages requested, for security and reliability, and retains them for a limited time.
Services this website loads
This website loads content from three outside services, and only these. Each has its own privacy policy.
- Google Maps. The home page, the contact page, and the two office pages show a map of each office, loaded from Google when the map comes into view. Google receives the technical information any web request carries, such as your IP address, and may set its own cookies.
- Cloudflare Turnstile. The appointment request form is protected by Turnstile, which checks that a request comes from a person. It loads on the contact page only and may process technical information about your browser to do that.
- Google Translate. Only if you choose Español. That choice sets one cookie on this website so that each page you open is translated, and while Spanish is on, the text of the pages you view is sent to Google for translation. Choosing English removes the cookie. Until you choose Español, no translation request is made.
This website uses no analytics and no advertising or social media trackers. Apart from the cookie that remembers Español and any cookie Google sets through the map, it sets no cookies. Fonts and images are served from this website, not from outside services.
How we use it
We use the information you submit to call you back, confirm an appointment, and answer your request. Requests are delivered to the practice by email through a transactional email service and are not stored on this website.
Text messages
If you call the practice and the call goes unanswered, you may receive one automated text message from Total Podiatry, PLLC with a number to call back and a link to request an appointment on this website. After a visit, you may receive one text asking you to leave a review. Message frequency varies and is typically one or two messages per interaction. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also call the office. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving care. Our texts never ask for health information, and please do not send any by text.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Service providers
Behind the website, a small number of providers do specific jobs: a hosting provider serves the pages and keeps the server logs described above, Cloudflare provides Turnstile, Google provides the maps and the optional translation, and an email delivery service carries appointment requests to the practice. Each processes only what is needed to do its job.
Links to other websites, such as the Operation Footprint site, lead to services with their own privacy policies.
Not medical advice
The information on this website is general and is not medical advice. It does not create a doctor-patient relationship. If you have a medical concern, contact the office. In an emergency, call 911.
Your choices
You may request an appointment by phone instead of using the form. You may opt out of text messages as described above. You may use the website in English without any translation request being made. To ask what information we hold about you from this website, or to have it corrected or deleted, contact the office.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them online.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change when we do.
Contact
Questions about this policy can be directed to the office by phone or by mail using the details on the contact page.
